Saturday 7th August - Gangsters & Molls Swing Dance Party! To celebrate 10 years of swing dancing at The Bedford we move to the Saturday night for August! On Saturday 7th August (8pm-2am) we will be celebrating 10 years of swing dancing at The Bedford (home of C Jam) - be sure not to miss out on what will be a fantastic party! (This means that there will be no 2 O'Clock Jump on Friday 6th August) • Beginners swing dance class 8-8.30pm • Club 8.30pm-2am • Live music from the Shirt Tail Stompers • Top swing DJs • Dress to impress - Gangsters & Molls theme or Retro/Vintage/smart modern • £12 in advance · £15 on the door |
The
2 O'Clock Jump is our glamorous monthly Swing Ball - featuring
the very best swing music, both live and recorded - and dancing into the
early hours! In the spirit of the great Harlem ballrooms of the 1920s, 30s
and 40s, we expect everyone to be well turned out so we have a smart dress
code - vintage or retro much appreciated although smart modern is OK (but
no jeans/t-shirts)

This month we present the amazing Shirt Tail Stompers! Heavily influenced by the great American band leaders and musicians of the 20s, 30s and 40s, the London based Shirt Tail Stompers are bringing swing music back into the mainstream with their own suave and raucous stamp!

· Top swing DJs playing music from the 1920s-1950s
