West London's premier swing dance night!

The evening at A-Train kicks off with swing dance (Lindy hop) classes.

Come down early and enjoy a drink from the amazingly cheap members bar! The Rutland pub is also just round the corner for a pre-dancing bite to eat on the riverfront!

Classes at A-Train

Start any week • No need to book (just turn up) • No partner needed

7.30pm - Beginners Lindy hop class
No experience required. Absolute beginners always welcome!
Learn all the basics with simple fun routines aimed at getting you dancing quickly - with plenty of emphasis on good lead/follow technique and connection as with all our classes!

8.30pm - Beginners feestyle dancing/practice

9pm - Intermediates Lindy hop class
You need to be familiar with swing out, Lindy turn and basic partnered Charleston steps to take this class.
Challenge yourself and improve your dancing!

We rotate partners regularly in both classes so no-one misses out and you get a chance to dance with everyone. Couples may stay together if you wish but we HIGHLY recommend rotating because you will learn MUCH quicker by dancing with different people - and there is always plenty of time to dance with your partner after the classes!

9.30pm-11pm - Dance party - freestyle dancing/practice - after the classes there is plenty of time to practise what you've learnt, watch and join in the dancing, and get to know people
