Ealing Hoppers is Swingland's newest night - swing dance classes and dancing in Ealing every Monday!
Ealing Hoppers takes place at the Drayton
Court Hotel, 2 The Avenue , West Ealing, London W13 8PH - right opposite
West Ealing station (just 15mins direct from Paddington, 16mins direct from
Heathrow!), with free parking outside. Bus 207 stops right nearby too. And
for those who don't mind a walk, Ealing Broadway tube (Central/District lines)
is 15 minutes away - or take the Route Bus E11 towards Greenford Red Lion
/ Otter Rd or Route Bus E7 towards Ruislip. MapThe dance hall has recently been completely refurbished and is now absolutely stunning, with large chandeliers, stage lighting and beautiful wooden dance floor - and fortunately they have managed to do it all without losing the character of the historic building.
The classes are taught by Martin and Charlie and run as follows:
Beginners class 7.45pm
A simple fun routine to get you dancing - with plenty of emphasis on good lead/follow and connection as with all our classes!
Intermediates class 9.00pm
Learn all the classic Lindy hop moves and patterns!
Freestyle dancing/practice from 9.45pm
Doors open at 7.30pm, but the venue is open all day so you are welcome to arrive earlier if it suits. Seeing as it's a Monday night we finish around 10.45pm.
