As well as our regular club nights, Swingland runs weekly classes at Dance Attic Studios in West London, covering Lindy hop fundamentals - suitable for beginners and improvers.

About our Studio Classes

We teach the original swing dance - the Lindy hop as danced in the great ballrooms of the Harlem Renaissance, such as The Savoy.

What to expect
You should expect to work hard *and* have loads of fun! Our studio classes are first and foremost about fundamentals and technique. Like most things you get out what you put in, so if you concentrate, use the mirrors and practise what you learn you should expect your dancing to improve noticeably - and rapidly. A typical studio class attracts between 10 and 20 people.

We are proud to be able to say that many of the very best Lindy hop dancers in London have been regulars at our studio classes at one time or other over the last 10 years!
