BOAT CLUB BOUNCE (Thursdays 7.30-11.15pm)

Lindy hop classes and dancing in Putney!

The evening at Boat Club Bounce kicks off with swing dance (Lindy hop) classes.

Join any time • No need to book (just turn up) • No partner needed

7.45pm-8.30pm - Beginners class
No experience required. Absolute beginners always welcome!
A simple fun routine to get you dancing - with plenty of emphasis on good lead/follow and connection as with all our classes!

8.30pm-9.15pm - Intermediates class
You need to be familiar with swing out, Lindy turn and basic partnered Charleston steps to take this class.
Challenge yourself and improve your dancing!

We rotate partners regularly in both classes so you get a chance to dance with everyone. This is the best way to learn and it’s a great way to meet people too!

Freestyle/practice

9.15pm-11.15pm (dance hall) - Freestyle dancing/practice - after the classes there is plenty of time to practise what you've learnt, watch and join in the dancing, and get to know people
