9.15pm-11.15pm Freestyle dancing
From 9.15pm it's freestyle time - try out the moves you've learnt, or sit down, have a drink and watch what's going on. Resident DJ Smarty & occasional guests play ‘the best swing music in town’ (everything from Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller through to Lavay Smith, Ray Gelato and Royal Crown Revue) and are happy to take requests too.

The best way to improve your dancing is to practise, so make sure you take advantage of around two hours of freestyle dancing in this lovely venue...

In particular we would encourage beginners to stay for the freestyle session - you can learn a huge amount just by watching but more importantly there are plenty of people to help you and there really is no substitute for time spent on the dance floor!

Live music - occasionally we’ll have a live band and these nights always bring out the best Lindy hoppers, so don’t miss ‘em!
