The Autmun Swing Ball

Natty Congeroo & The Flames Of Rhythm

Natty Congeroo and The Flames Of Rhythm have worked hard to become one of the leading Swing bands in Europe and regularly performs for major international festivals, prestigious vintage events and swing dances. Past performances include headline slots at Secret Garden Party, Wilderness Festival, Boomtown, Parma Swing Festival, Hep Cats Holiday and Rhythm Riot, as well as large-scale private events for ‘Lush’ cosmetics in Amsterdam, White Mink in Italy, the Royal Northern College of Music’s Summer Ball and the opening of the St. Regis hotel in Mumbai. The band closed 2015 in style as the main act in the Clore Ballroom as part of the lavish Hemingway Vintage Festival that took over the Southbank Centre on New Years Eve.

The band is led by the legendary showman Natty Congeroo; a popular, stylish and flamboyant Singer/ Dancer/DJ and all round Hep Cat who has been performing at the top of his game for many years. The players: The Sizzle, The Killer Diller, Lá Bass, Dr Kitch and La Mamba provide unrivalled levels of excitement and astonishing musical skill that is an explosive mix once the show gets started. If the band look as if we’re having a great time on stage (and diving into the audience!) that’s because we are!

How to get to The Autumn Swing Ball

The Autumn Swing Special will be held at The Hammersmith Club - a stunning period dance hall in the heart of West London.

The Hammersmith Club is located one street back from the Riverside next to Hammersmith Bridge (the waterfront stretches from Hammersmith Bridge to Chiswick Eyot). If you are coming from the waterfront look for the Rutland pub as the venue is close to that.

The Hammersmith Club is at 11 Rutland Grove, Hammersmith, London W6 9DH.

Entrance is via the large gate (pictured) then the new entrance porch to the left of the dance hall. NB the car park is private and must not be used.

By tube - Piccadilly, District or Hammermsith & City Lines to Hammersmith, 5-10 minutes walk.

Entrance gates From the tube exit cross towards King Street and then walk up Blacks Road into Hammersmith Bridge Road - Rutland Grove is the last turning on the right before the river/bridge.
Alternatively walk up King Street and turn left opposite Primark then continue straight (Bridge Ave then Bridge View after crossing under the flyover) until you reach Rutland Grove (look for Digby Mansions).

Turn right into Rutland Grove and the venue is on your left nestled between smart townhouses.

By bus - any bus over Hammersmith Bridge - there is a stop right at the end of Rutland Grove.

By car - Just off the A4, Hammersmith is easily accessible by car from all directions. There is parking outside the venue in Rutland Grove, and in local streets but this is now metered until 10pm - single yellow lines are the best option for early evening parking. Kings Mall car park is just off King Street, 5 mins walk from the venue, and is very good value.
