In the news...

Tickets for Swingland's Summer Swing Ball on Saturday 23rd June at The Hammersmith Club with live music from the Shirt Tail Stompers will be on sale shortly - don't miss out!
Save the date for our Winter Swing Ball too - Saturday 22nd December.  This will be Swingland's 20th anniversary party (1998-2018) so will be a very special night indeed!
The Savoy Ball returns too after a 5-year break - Saturday 16th March 2019 in the Grand Hall at Battersea Arts Centre.

Weekly classes and dancing - May 2018

All our regular classes and dancing are running as usual every week. Just turn up, no partner needed.  Start any week!

* LIVE MUSIC * Tuesday 22nd May we have live music at C Jam after the classes - 2 sets from the fantastic Shirt Tail Stompers.  Band on stage 9.30pm.  We will also be saying a sad farewell to Oli Deans, jazz and Lindy hop dancer & teacher extraordinaire, who is off on a world tour ending with a move to Canada - please come and help us say goodbye and wish him the very best on his travels!

Bank Holiday weekend 5th-7th May - our Twickenham and Brixton classes are closed, check out BallroomBlitz at our Windsor venue on Saturday and/or London Lindy Exchange instead if you're around!
Bank Holiday weekend 26th-28th May - no Twickenham classes on the Sunday but Brixton will run on the Monday.

Elysian Den

Sunday 20th May - Elysian Den (Sundays, monthly) at The George IV, 7pm-10.30pm
Elysian Den returns to the magnificent Boston Room at The George IV, 185 Chiswick High Road on Sunday 20th May - don't miss it, great venue and great music plus beginners swing dance class at 7pm to kick things off! Teachers/DJs Martin Ellis & Romayne Etwaroo. Just turn up, no partner needed. Nearest tube is Turnham Green and there's free parking outside the venue. Also Sunday 17th June.

Swing dance workshops (Lindy hop, jazz, Charleston and tap) for improvers through to advanced dancers with a top selection of both local and international teachers!
Tickets (available in advance only) for the workshops are £60 per day or £105 for both days with an extra £10 saving for a lead and follow booking together (NB partners rotate in all workshops so you don't need to dance together all day, just find someone to book with!)
