Saturday 28-May-22, 10:00am - Levelling-up (Beginners/Improvers) Lindy hop workshop
Aimed at our regular beginners & improvers (especially at C Jam, but everyone welcome), in this workshop we will be looking to give you the confidence to start joining in our intermediates classes. No partner needed - all attendees will rotate partners throughout. You will need to be able to do a basic Swing out, Lindy turn and Circle. Teachers - Martin & Kim (C Jam) Expect to have lots of fun - and a few challenges!

Sunday 29-May-22, 11:00am - Tranky Doo (1930s/40s jazz dance routine) workshop
Learn the "Tranky Doo" jazz routine. Tricky in places, but lots of fun! Usually performed to "Tuxedo Junction" (Erskine Hawkins) or "The Dipsy Doodle" (Chick Webb), but works with most swing tunes... Some knowledge of jazz steps (eg fall-off-the-log, trickeration break) in a Lindy hop environment, or previous dance experience is recommended. Teacher - Martin Ellis (Swingland)
